Narita Airport is the gateway to Japan’s skies.
A new wholesale market is scheduled to open in January 2022 on the adjacent land.

The Tokyo Olympics were postponed for a year due to the coronavirus.
I myself had won a ticket to watch the surfing, but unfortunately I had to give it up when it was postponed.

I happened to be watching TV last night after coming home from work and found out that food packaging in the world is changing.
Plastic juice bottles are being replaced by aluminum cans, plastic seasoning bottles by paper packages, and plastic meat trays by vacuum packs.
As a carnivore, I spend a lot of time stopping at the meat corner of the supermarket, and it seems that vacuum-packed meat is beginning to account for an increasing percentage of the meat, although I think it is most common in poultry.
I have heard that the shelf life of vacuum-packed meat has been extended by about two days, partly due to the “SDGs,” as they are often called these days.
In the past, when meat was packaged in plastic trays, it was usually divided into small portions from the large vacuum-packed meat, and then wrapped and sent to the store.
As a result, the meat was exposed to air, which reduced the freshness of the meat.
In other words, we had become accustomed to seeing meat sold in trays in stores, but it was just that we were not used to seeing it, and it became more practical.
It may be similar to the time when MUJI ( No mark product ) came out.
It doesn’t look good, but as a product it’s well worth selling.
It’s true that trays look better, but in reality, vacuum-packed products are better.
