We tweet about things that are not related to our work.

   Tavern-Pub

On the way home from work, there is an izakaya (Japanese pub) with a red lantern light.

However, it had not been open recently.

I passed by that store on a day off from work, so I took a peek inside and found the store deserted and empty without table and chair.

It seems to have closed.

My own guess is that sales did not increase due to Corona, and the business suffered.

I’ve been hearing a lot of news about the tight business situation of izakaya pubs.

A private research firm, (Tokyo Shoko Research), conducted a survey of 14 major chains store that operate pubs and bars.

As of September 30, 2021, the total number of stores was 5,958.

That’s down 17% from 7,200 stores in December 2019, before the outbreak spread.

It’s good to drink at home, but it’s also good to drink in a lively butling izakaya.

It is sad to see one izakaya after another disappearing.

   NATTO with KIMCHI
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Recently, I have been eating natto and kimchi every night.

I am addicted to it.

The moment I ate kimchi, I began to hear, “Thanks for another day of work.”

Natto and kimchi are both fermented foods, and the garlic in kimchi helps prevent the formation of blood clots, while natto nattokinase helps break up blood clots.

There is a synergistic effect of the natto bacteria helping the lactic acid bacteria in kimchi to multiply and clean the intestines.

In other words, kimchi feeds on natto bacillus to increase lactic acid bacteria.

Natto and kimchi are both good for your health, and eating them together enhances their health benefits.

And best of all, it tastes good.

It is also a good choice to accompany your evening meal with drinks.

NATTO…… Fermented Soybeans
KIMCHI……Spicy Pickles

   Work at home-Telework
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

A life insurance company compiled a survey.

According to the report, the percentage of people who want to continue telework even after the corona disaster is over was about 73%.

The reasons cited were a decrease in commuting time and more time to spend with family.

It means that they see the impact of telework in a positive light.

However, with the spread of telework, there are concerns about lack of communication in the workplace.

According to the survey, the percentage of negative answers such as “rather unnecessary” for dinners with alcohol in the workplace increased by 16% from the previous year to 61.9%.

There were positive comments such as “I can hear true feelings and get closer to each others.”

However, many of the negative comments were “because it makes me feel self-conscious” and “because it feels like an extension of my job.

The generation that took it for granted that going out to dinner was part of their job, and the new generation that doesn’t take it for granted.

I felt that the results of this survey showed differences in generational views gap.

   Santa Claus

How old were you when you believed in the existence of Santa Claus?

Christmas is the biggest event in December.

How old were you when you believed in the existence of Santa Claus? A survey was conducted to find out.

The result seems to be that age 10 is one of the boundaries.

Up to age 9, more than 70% of children believe in Santa Claus.

However, after the age of 10, the percentage drops and seems to be below 50%.

As for the choice of Christmas gifts, it seems that most families give it what they want on their birthdays and parents give them what they want for Christmas.

By the way, In addition, I haven’t believed in Santa Claus since I was in kindergarten.

   Favorite TV Program-Titled SEKAHOSHI
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

I rarely watch TV shows these days because I only watch subscription shows like Netflix and Youtube.

However, there is one program that even I like.

This is NHK’s “The World is Overflowing with Things I Want.”

MC’s JUJU (singer-songwriter) and Ryohei Suzuki (actor) introduce specialties and foods from around the world, as well as other wonderful things for food, clothing and residence.

It is nicknamed and loved as “Sekahoshi.”

It used to be broadcast regularly, but now it is broadcasted as an irregular special program in view of the world situation.

Even though I had no choice, I felt sad.

As I like to travel, so do watch this kind of programs on TV.

This program is interesting not because it is about travel, but because you can learn about the lives and thoughts of local people through “things” that exist around the world.

   SDGs
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Over the weekend, a TV program called “Earth Dramatic” introduced ways to reduce carbon dioxide emissions to stop global warming.

Carbon dioxide is only 4% of the atmosphere.

However, scientific research around the world has demonstrated that this increase is causing atmospheric changes on Earth.

The global cooling operation is being practiced on the world stage.

The key is to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

They say that carbon dioxide will stay in the atmosphere unless it is removed.

The amount is said to be as much as one trillion tons considering the industrial revolution.

In Iceland, the removed material can be returned to the ground by using the geology that easily binds with carbon dioxide above ground.

They are also working on “Geo-Engineering” to lower the temperature of the earth by manipulating the atmosphere to create a curtain of clouds in response to the heat released by solar energy.

However, it is also true that we have to fight against reality.

Tornadoes hit the Midwestern United States, causing extensive damage with over 100 deaths.

Earthquakes in Japan are also starting to become more frequent, occurring at least once a month in various province.

Personally, I can’t help but feel that this is a sign of the Nankai Trough earthquake.

Although it has become a business fad, the SDGs are also connected to the story of global warming of the earth.

I think this is an issue that needs to be considered by the entire world.

We have to make the earth a happy place that we can pass on to our future generations.
