   Jigsaw Puzzle
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Two weeks ago, I went to my mother’s parents’ house to deliver some plums they had harvested to my uncle.

My uncle is retired from work and has a lot of time on his hands, so he started doing jigsaw puzzles.

He had nothing to do, so he made a large number of 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzles.

Since there was no space to display them in my uncle’s house, he gave me two completed landscape puzzles as my housewarming gift.

I framed the puzzles I received and hung them in the living room and the entranceway, and they looked great.

In today’s words, they “looked” great、Instagrammable.

Jigsaw puzzles are puzzles in which you keep looking for the place where the pieces fit together based on visual information.

It seems to activate the brain because you keep moving your fingertips while thinking.

In addition, jigsaw puzzles have the effect of enhancing the function of the right brain, which controls sensitivity and the senses, and they seem to be effective in preventing dementia.

How to avoid buttocks pain at the cinema
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

I went to the movies with my son the other day.

Movies are good.

You concentrate on the big screen, forget about time, and immerse yourself in the story.

It gives you an extraordinary feeling.

However, there is a “certain phenomenon” that brings you back to reality in no time.

It is the phenomenon of having a pain in the buttocks while watching a movie.

My buttocks hurt almost every time.

About an hour into the screening, my buttocks start to ache.

I try to endure it by squirming and changing my position, but in the end it hurts no matter what I do.

I can’t concentrate on the film, and before I know it, I’m appealing to the film to “hurry up and get it over with.

I am enjoying the luxury I paid for, but the pain in my buttocks prevents me from enjoying it to the fullest.

To put an end to such a situation, we have researched countermeasures.

Cause of buttock pain: Bad posture
Countermeasure: Take off your shoes and lift your toes. Stretch your back and improve your posture.
Reason: Toes point up→Achilles tendon is stretched→Back muscles are naturally stretched.

When I actually tried this, I was able to watch a whole movie without any pain.

If your buttocks hurt easily, try this.

   Security Robot
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Narita International Airport Corporation introduced “cocobo,” a security robot manufactured by Secom, on June 13.

One unit was installed in the departure lobby on the 3rd floor of Narita Airport Terminal 2.

Cocobo was designed to be “non-intimidating and dignified,” and stands 125 cm tall.

It is 125 cm tall and is equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) that can detect congestion.

This is the first time in Japan that an autonomous patrol monitoring robot has been introduced.

Although only one Cocobo has been installed, it is hoped that more will be needed and that the area will be so crowded with tourists that it will return to its former lively state.

   Visa Renewal
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The time has come for visa renewal, which every foreigner living in Japan with a stay of more than three months has experienced.

During the two years of the Corona disaster, few new foreign students came to Japan.

And compared to the pre-Corona period, the number of foreigners living in Japan has decreased considerably.

The Chiba Prefectural Immigration Bureau, located in Chiba City, is the lead agency for foreign visa renewals.

Before Corona, there were more than 1,000 visa renewals, extensions, status changes, and permanent residence applications per day.

For this reason, there was always a huge line of people waiting in line even before the office opened.

This time, I was renewing my visa for the first time in three years.

To my surprise, there were only 15 people waiting and the waiting time was about 20 minutes.

When I renewed 3 years ago, I had to wait for 3 hours.

   Chocolate Mint
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Suddenly, do you like chocolate mint flavored things?

The most typical one is ice cream, isn’t it?

I crave it in the summer.

I can’t get enough of the refreshing mint flavor and the sweet, muddled chocolate.

The other day, I found a chocolate mint flavored chocolate bar in the supermarket.

(I thought it was just “chocolate with mint in it”. I guess…)

However, I have the impression that people who don’t like this flavor really don’t like it.

I have heard some people say, “It’s just like eating toothpaste.

Some people say, “It tastes like toothpaste, but with the added sweetness of the chocolate, it’s just awful.

What is even more interesting is that it is not popular in the Kansai region.

For people in Kansai, where the culture of sweet sauces such as takoyaki and okonomiyaki is deeply rooted, chocolate mint, which combines sweetness and coolness, is not very popular.

Conversely, the most popular regions are Hokkaido and Tohoku.

My guess is that since Hakka(Peppermint) has been popular in Hokkaido for a long time, there is not much resistance to it.

Interesting!

   Elementary School Back Pack
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Every morning my son carries his school bag to elementary school.

I used to think it was “crazy heavy” during milestones like the opening and closing ceremonies or when carrying his pianica or calligraphy tools.

In Japan, it was talked about on twitter, but the children thought on their own and pulled their school bags on a carrier to go to school.

There are some people who disagree, but personally I think it is more important that the children themselves are thinking and growing every day.

It is the children who are facing the problem now, and the adults’ stories are in the past.

I think it is good to refer to it as an objective opinion, but I think the children should be the ones to make the final decision.

What made me happy was the fact that the children were able to reasonably and methodically refute the adults’ opinions.

Children are individuals just like adults, only smaller and less experienced.

They are equal.

Children who have moved adults enough to make school bag goods called “Sanposeru” have a promising future.

By the way, my child wants to carry his school bag on his back.

He wants to carry his school bag on his back because he can use both hands.

The other day, my child came home with a pianica, but not in his hands.

He locked it in his school bag and came home as if it had grown green wings.

I guess that child spends every day thinking about a lot of things in his own way.

   FPS-First Person Shooter Game
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

I went to Saitama Super Arena the other day.

The purpose was an offline FPS game tournament.

I happened to win a ticket, so I went to watch the game.

(I took all the necessary precautions against corona infection.)

It was my first time to watch an offline tournament at Saitama Super Arena.

I was very excited.

There were so many people in the venue, and I realized once again how popular this game really is.

When the tournament started and the professional players entered the arena, I got goosebumps.

I also got really excited when the professional players made their super plays.

I had seen professional players fighting many times before on videos and other media.

Watching them live is very powerful, something you can’t get from just watching a video.

Recently, due to the influence of Corona, I have not had the opportunity to go to many events.

Corona has recently settled down, and I would like to actually go there and participate in various events, and enjoy more of the fun that can only be had at events, etc.
